Cookie Policy
Last updated: 30 June 2026Last updated: . This Cookie Policy explains how VEUGA, operated by Maukx LLC, uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — such as local storage — let a site remember information in your browser. We use both, sparingly.
2. How we use them
Strictly necessary
These are required for the Service to work, and cannot be switched off:
- Authentication — set by our authentication provider (Clerk) to keep you signed in and secure your session.
- Security — set by Cloudflare to protect the site from abuse and malicious traffic.
- Consent preference — remembers your cookie choice so we don't ask again on every page.
Functional (local storage)
- Theme preference — remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. This is stored in your browser's local storage and is never sent to us.
Analytics — optional
If enabled, we may use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it. These are optional and are only set if you accept. They help us see which pages are useful; they are not used to profile you or to advertise to you.
What we don't use
We do not use advertising cookies, we do not sell data to advertisers, and we do not track you across other websites.
3. Managing cookies
- You can accept or decline optional cookies using the banner shown on your first visit.
- You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and parts of the Service will stop working.
- Clearing your browser storage will also reset your theme preference.
4. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by the providers we rely on to run the Service — currently Clerk (authentication) and Cloudflare (security and delivery), and Google Analytics if you have accepted analytics. Those providers process this information under their own privacy policies. See section 5 of our Privacy Policy for the full list of providers we use.
5. Changes
We may update this policy as the Service changes. The "last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
